Empowering Girls

When we teach girls to build with power tools the results are undeniable.

Girls at Work has worked with thousands of girls to help them build confidence, discover their self-worth and find their voice. In this supportive environment, girls are empowered and gain a sense of accomplishment that lasts well beyond the build.

You have the power to empower. Donate today to help empower more girls.

Our Capital Campaign

“The opportunity to relocate our workshop in the millyard is extraordinary and we are profoundly grateful for the philanthropic support of all of our partners -especially FIRST for offering the space when they learned the building we currently occupy was being sold.” -Beth Dever, Executive Director, Girls at Work

“We are thrilled to be working with Harvey on our new space. They are an amazing team and they truly understand and care about our mission. To date it’s been an incredible collaboration of businesses in the trades as well as suppliers who are all engaged in making this space exceptional for our little builders” said Girls at Work Founder and Program Director, Elaine Hamel.

To date, with the generous support of a lead gift from the Lois Roy Dickerman Foundation, and in conjunction with additional gifts from the Archibald and Samuel P. Hunt Foundations,   Girls at Work has secured approximately $200,000, allowing for the first phase of construction to begin.

In order to meet our move in target date of April 30th, we need an additional $200,00.
