After School Program

In our after school workshops, builders will learn and practice building skills in a safe and powerful way to achieve confidence and believe they are capable. When builders see what they are capable of creating, they take pride in their achievements, and their confidence grows exponentially.

• Builders must be between the ages of 8 – 13 to participate in the After School Program
• Transportation is dependent on the partnership agreement with each school. Please check the schedule below to find out if transportation is provided. Often, adults must be able to drop off and pick up their children before and after class.
• This program is an eight week block where builders will spend two hours per week building small woodworking projects that they will take home. Be sure to sign up early as space is limited in order to provide smaller and safer class sizes.
• For 21st Century afterschool programs, registration must be completed through them, not Girls at Work. Find your child’s school’s 21st Century Program Coordinator here.

Important! Please check to see if your child’s school has a designated class time by viewing the schedule below. You can register for our after school program either through our website, or the Manchester School District through Manchester’s 21st Century Program. After viewing the schedule, please click the register button on your preferred class.
