BUILD ME UP, LEADERSHIP & MORE

Build Me Up Afterschool Program

Ages 8 – 14
Tuesday – Thursday, 3 – 5pm
8 Week Session

Build Me Up Afterschool is designed for girls in grades 3-8. Builders begin with the basics as they build a Shaker Peg Rack using the hand-held palm sander, cordless power drill, ruler, glue and hammer. The confidence begins to build as they move onto building their own Power Box. Once built, they inscribe the inside of the lid with a favorite quote from the walls. This box will serve as a permanent reminder of how capable and strong they are. The final project in the series is a lap desk. The lap desk is a practical, functional piece for girls to use for schoolwork and studying.
