The Girls at Work Kindness Room
The Girls at Work Kindness Room is another way we empower our girls by providing much needed essentials like food, school supplies, footwear, winter coats, etc. Our amazing community continues to step up for our builders and we are beyond grateful as this enables us to empower them in more ways than we could have imagined. Because many folks have asked what they can donate we are providing a list below as a way that you too can support our builders! Please call ahead to see if Girls at Work can accommodate your donation and to set up a drop off appointment 603-345-0392.
Many businesses choose to organize donation drives for our builders! Call us to inquire about setting one up.
Food
We have wonderful relationships with community agencies that provide the bulk of the food in our food pantry. All foods must be shelf stable. Foods that we can accept from the public include:
- Spaghetti sauce
- Condiments like ketchup, mayo, mustard, maple syrup, gravy, and salad dressing
- Basic herbs and spices like onion and garlic powder and oregano
- Microwaveable foods like mac & cheese
- Peanut Butter and Jelly
- Easy-open, ready to eat foods like granola bars and crackers
- Cereal
- Fruit snacks and fruit cups
- Can openers
- Grocery store gift cards
Clothing & Shoes
Must be new with tags or in its original packaging
- Boots, sizes 5-9 Women’s
- Socks size 4-10 Women’s
- Coats, both children and adult sizes, preferably with a hood

- 1” torx (star tipped) screws
- 5”x 8 hole sanding discs #80 grit #100 grit
- Sharpie markers
- Enamel paints
- Denim aprons (small)
- Small paintbrushes
Other Items Needed
- Hair care products for a variety of hair types including shampoo, conditioner, and hair brushes
- Menstrual pads & tampons
- Underwear
- Toothbrushes and toothpaste
- Deodorant
- Face/body wash/lotion
- School supplies
- Socks, lots of socks
