Volunteers are the fuel that keeps us going.
While there are very few opportunities for volunteers to work directly with the builders in the workshops, we have many other opportunities that exist. During each lunch block of summer camp, we have sign-ups available for volunteers.
If you have a special skill or area of expertise that you would like to volunteer to the organization, please let us know!
Examples of Volunteer Opportunities Include:
- Summer camp lunchtime volunteers
- Holiday parties
- Stocking and organizing food donations
- Event set up and tear down
- Organization of the Kindness Room
Also, we have opportunities for retired woodworkers to help prep lumber in our workshop that will be utilized for the builders’ projects. We have a designated workshop just for our prep team.
